And yes, my netbook has caught the same malware which my "free" antivirus software (AVG) has found that particular file with no virus name but it ends with QFO.exe and threw it in the virus vault...
I'm sure i've seen this QFO.exe problem thread somewhere but i've got no idea what the thread replies are talking about...(I'm kinda slow in learning... :? )

Oh as i mentioned it's the 2nd time and i'm sick of it. How i fix the 1st time was i got my netbook to my uncle and he did a ghost reformat for me...

I would appreciate it if someone would give me a more "Guidebook for dummies, how to remove malware" kind of help, so as to have a "follow-up" if any same situation happens again in the future ('course i hope it wouldn't happen)

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so we can give you appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, and which tells you what we need you to post so that we can help you.

This topic will now be closed.

If you still need help, please start a new thread with:

  • FRST.txt
  • Addition.txt
  • Details of your problems.

If for any reason you can't run FRST, please let us know in your post.
