I have the common problem of the searchqu.com/406 hijacking of my Firefox homepage. Even if I change the homepage in options, it returns in subsequent sessions (and my usual homepage now gets 'a 404 Not Found' if I go to it manually). I deleted the culprit iLivid, that was mistakenly installed to days ago, and its folder in Program Files, ran Malwarebytes and cCleaner, but the problem persists. I even tried a HiJackThis scan but couldn't see any files that appeared relevant to searchqu.
What do I need to do and what files to send ? BTW, I don't know how to generate and send the DDS logs, if you could specify pls (I'm using Windows XT Professional SP3). Thank you in advance!
