pop ups with failed jar message

My browser suddenly started sprouting pop ups anytime i navigate, consistently. They report a 404 jar error. ran hijack, not sure what on this list, if anything, is causing the issue. The error message in the pop ups is "Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/chrome/browser.jar!/content/browser/cannot select DB."
