WOW - no consideration for the entrpeneur

trying to make his way in the world. Yes I connect to a business network, as part of my consultant job, but I also connect to my home network as well. Just trying to make a living with no IT help. I guess I'll just keep spreading the malware with an infected machine.

As you are a paid consultant, your computer is a tool of your trade. As such, you should not be seeking assistance from volunteers who receive no income whatsoever for assisting people on this site, you should instead be prepared to pay for professional expertise just as you are paid for your professional expertise.

If, rather than pay to have your computer fixed, you continue to connect to business networks with an infected computer, quite possibly spreading the infection through those networks, then it's highly likely that you will soon be looking for another field of employment.
