Mozilla Searches: Redirecting when opening in new tabs/wind

I recently have had issues with my mozilla searches redirecting when I open any findings in a new tab. It seems to be getting worse. At first it was occasional (would only happen with certain links), but is now happening almost everytime & also happening when I type in an exact url.


Please help!!! I am running windows Vista. The following is my hijacker log.

On top of the page there is a field to add the filepath.
Copy and paste this filepath:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmicryptinstall32.dll

Then hit Submit or Upload, depending on the scanner.
The scan will take a while before the result comes up so please be patient.
Then copy and/or save the result and post it here in this thread.

Download and Run Rkill
Please download Rkill from one of the following links and save to your Desktop:
One, Two,Three or Four

• Double click on Rkill or right button click and choose "Run as administrator".
• A command window will open, then disappear upon completion, this is normal.
• Please leave Rkill on the Desktop until otherwise advised.

Please download the GMER Rootkit Scanner from Here.

• Right click the .exe file and chose Run as Administrator. If asked to allow gmer.sys driver to load, please consent
• If it gives you a warning about rootkit activity and asks if you want to run scan...click on NO
• In the right panel, you will see several boxes that have been checked. Uncheck the following ...
  • IAT/EAT
  • Drives/Partition other than the System drive (which is typically C:\)
  • Show All (don't miss this one)

• Then click the Scan button & wait for it to finish
  **Caution** Rootkit scans often produce false positives. Do NOT take any action on any "<--- ROOKIT" entries
• Once done click on the [Save..] button, and in the File name area, type in "Gmer.txt" or it will save as a .log file
• Save it where you can easily find it, such as your desktop, and post it in your next reply

Note: Do not run any other programs while Gmer is running.

Retrieve the List of Installed programs Using HJT
Open HijackThis, click Open The Misc Tools Section. Then scroll down the list if you need to, click Open Uninstall Manager and Save List...
The List of installed programs will automatically be saved as uninstall_list.txt in your HiJackThis folder.
In addition, the list opens in Notepad so you can also save as another name in another location if you wish.
Please paste the contents into your next reply.

So we are looking for the results of the Jotti scan, the log file from Gmer, and the Uninstall list from HiJackThis.
