Win32/Alureon.H may be the issue?

My IE is under the control of the virus. The pc is slowing down. Security patches or any attempt to download are either partially loaded or get a message that the web site is not available. Have contacted Microsoft support; now on level 2. Microsoft Security Essentials stops as soon as the infection shows up. I can not run Microsoft
Full Service Scan, it stops at 4 out of 8 tasks. However I can run their portions named: Tuneup and Cleanup. I can not download anything from HP because when I start the download the WEB pg is not available.

I have several virus software packages. None are reporting the virus

All software and operating system up-to-date
Firewall stays turned on
Antispyware is up to date
Antivirus software is up to date
