My Computer is Sooooo Sloooow

Computer started being slow when I ran a search for 'cookies' in order to delete them. They were gone. I tried to download Reg Works but the program malfunctioned. Now I still can't find the 'cookies' and I can't uninstall RegWorks. My Computer does not need to be defragmented.

I just sent the hijackthis list and the hijackthis uninstall list.
Hopefully you can help me.
