strange appearence of another email adress in front of mine

Another persons email address has mysteriously appeared in front of mine on my email account. my own email address appears in brackets afterwards. Anyone receiving emails from me thinks they are from this other person and if they reply directly it goes to this other person. My service provider is unable to provide an answer. Please help!!
