I recently had a World of Warcraft account stolen, the most likely cause being the use of a programme which automatically downloads addons. Logs requested are attached:

It appears that Combofix has previously been run on this computer. We need to see the results of that scan. The log file can be found at C:\ComboFix.txt. . Please post the contents of this log in your next reply

There is no malicious software evident in the HijackThis log you provided. We will proceed by cleaning up the infections identified in the Kaspersky scan and then run some more detailed scans to see if we can find anything hiding on your machine.

Let’s deal with the Kaspersky scan results.

Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to Explore), please delete this folder

C:\Qoobox\Quarantine\C\Program Files\MyWebSearch

The other 2 infections are attachments in emails stored in Outlook express.

Please open Outlook Express and then Empty Deleted Items this will remove one of the 2 infections.

We need to identify the second infected email item, please look in Outlook Express to see if there is a mailbox called Rob or Rob’s. If so then this is the mailbox we need to check, if not then we need to check the Inbox.

Once you have identified the mailbox as described above, please remove any mail that has an attachment that for any reason you cannot trust. Once you have deleted these emails then empty the deleted items folder again. Now run a new Kaspersky scan.

Repeat until the line C:\Documents and Settings\Rob\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{1F8E1722-C951-4A19-AC9F-BB519EA21AE7}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Rob's.dbx Suspicious: Trojan-Spy.HTML.Fraud.gen 1 is no longer detected.

If there is more than one profile set up in Outlook Express then you may need to examine the Inbox for each profile until the infection can be found.

Please download DDS ... by sUBs.
Save it to your desktop. Alternate download link:here.

• Double click the tool to run it.
• A black Screen will open... read the contents but do nothing.
• When DDS finishes... Notepad will open with 2 reports... DDS.txt and Attach.txt
  Ignore the comments about zipping / attaching any of the report files. The 2 report files are not saved anywhere,
  if you close Notepad, before copying /pasting them... you will need to run DDS again.
• Copy/paste both DDS.txt and Attach.txt reports in your next reply.
• Once the reports have been posted, you can delete DDS from your desktop.

Please download GMER Rootkit Scanner from here.

• Double click the .exe file. If asked to allow gmer.sys driver to load, please consent
• If it gives you a warning at program start about rootkit activity and asks if you want to run a scan...click NO.
• Run Gmer again and click on the Rootkit tab.
• Look at the right hand side (under Files) and uncheck all drives with the exception of your C drive.
• Make sure all other boxes on the right of the screen are checked, EXCEPT for "Show All".
• Click on the "Scan" and wait for the scan to finish.
  Note: Before scanning, make sure all other running programs are closed and no other actions like a scheduled antivirus scan will occur while this scan completes. Also do not use your computer during the scan.
• When completed, click on the Copy button and right-click on your Desktop, choose "New" > Text document. Once the file is created, open it and right-click again and choose Paste or Ctrl+V. Save the file as gmer.txt and copy the information in your next reply.
• Note: If you have any problems, try running GMER in SAFE MODE

Important! Please do not select the "Show all" checkbox during the scan..

Please post the GMER log along with DDS.txt and Attach.txt from the DDS scan into your next reply. Also please post the contents of ComboFix.txt.
