redirecting google links

I have a problem where I keep getting redirected to all these ads/other websites if I click on a google search result.

a couple updates:
one of my program files have gotten infected (paint.net) which I think I fixed with AVG. It was infected with a virus that started with the letter 'v' and ended with '.IY'. I'm sorry I can't remember the name.

AVG keeps detecting a trojan called 'trojan horse Dropper.Generic.BHHB' in all these files that are in my Temp folder.
for example: C:\WINDOWS\Temp\eciw.tmp\svchost.exe
all their names are different but they're found in the same location and they end in 'svchost.exe'.
The weird thing is that whenever I'm notified by AVG I click : move to vault. When I actually look into the virus vault I don't see them (except the one I used as an example). I must have gotten like 20-50 of these notices by now.

a couple other viruses in the vault:
Worm/Generic.AQVG
SHeur2.BUFM
