The Malware Removal room is provided in order to help those in need of assistance with their personal computers. This service is free and it is provided by forum volunteers. We do not provide assistance in cleaning customer computers for those who are operating a for-profit business.

We realize that on occasion an IT person may need to request a second opinion. In which case, you should declare that up-front and note the steps already taken and state that you are merely seeking advice on what direction you might take. A volunteer helper may or may not have advice to offer you.

If you are a computer business that charges a fee for removing malware from computers belonging to paying clients, please ensure that you are only seeking a second opinion/advice and that you are not posting your jobs for others to clean. Our volunteers are not available to provide free support to businesses. However, you may direct personal computer clients to this forum to receive free advice in the first person.
