I Have comcast and so used the free version of mcafee that was provided with it.
A few weeks back mcafee started giving me an error message that the security suite could not update and
needed to be reinstalled. as i tryed to reinsatll it i would get a page loading error in my internet browser and
could not download mcafee. ive tried a few things here and there to get it to fix, but with no luck.
also web pages get redirected sometimes.

here is my hijackthis log file.

Hi,

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
