My PC has Malware - Help please

Unread postby mwizz » June 28th, 2009, 7:42 am

I recently (& stupidly) downloaded a program which I thought was a Flash player upgrade and it loaded a program called something like 'Playall'. It appeared briefly on my Program list but then disappeared. The following things now happen on my computer:

Firstly, Internet Explorer does not appear when clicked. When I try and start it there is a brief flash as if it about to load and then nothing happens.
Secondly, when I select links in Google it sends me to a completely different page.

I have tried to download Internet Explorer again but it won't let me. I have tried to update my Adaware but it won't let me. I have tried to do a system restore but nothing happens.

I have cable broadband.

Please help.
