Poblem updating AVG

Good morning people.
I'm new here and new to hijack this and don't know anything about hijackthis.

I have a problem and was directed here by Pc Advisor.

The problem with my computer is that my AVG 7.5 all of a sudden wouldnt update. I reinstalled it and it comes up with avgnsx.exe has encountered a problem and also avgupd.exe has encountered a problem. Also i have a problem with IE. It's either very slow to load or it loads in a different larger font. I have ran hijackthis and to be perfectly honest i havent got a clue what i'm looking at.

I was told this was the site to come to as there are experts here that love to help.

The problem is that AVG 7.5 has become obsolete, and AVG no longer supports it.

Download just one of these free anti-virus programs, update it and run a full scan. Have it fix anything it finds.
Consider this an Emergency until you complete it!

Remove Programs Using Control Panel(XP)
From Start, Settings, Control Panel or Start, Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs.
Highlight each Entry, as follows, one by one, if it exists, and choose Remove :

AVG 7.5

Take extra care in answering questions posed by any Uninstaller. Some questions may be worded to deceive you into Keeping the program.

Run the RSIT Scanner
Please download the Scanner and save it to your desktop. The icon will be named RSIT.exe
Doubleclick the RSIT icon.
When the scan is complete, two text files will open
log.txt <- this one will be maximized
info.txt <- this one will be minimized
( Default location for both files is C:\rsit\ )
Copy/Paste the contents of both log.txt and info.txt into your next post please. Use two posts if you prefer.

Let me know how it goes, and please post the RSIT log when you get back.
