Windowsclick IE Re-direction

Hi,

My sons PC appears to have been hit by a virus that re-directs your browsing via windowsclick.com when using google, specifically the links that appear on google.

I have read about this and tried to install and run malwarebytes to remove this however this virus appears to be stopping malawarebytes and other malaware scans from installing and launching. I have re-named the file and managed to install it however it will not run on my sons PC.

He is running Windows XP SP3 and has AVG anti virus running and has run a Spyware Doctor (paid version) scan which did not remove this threat. This problem seems to have occured after another virus infected his computer namely the WINPC Anti-virus threat which I have successfully manually removed.

Below is a copy of his Hyjackthis log. Any help you can give us will be gratefully received. NB. This virus only appears to be effecting one user, having created another user account it doesn't effect the use of google/ IE. for this account. Many thanks.

1 - download and run RSIT

• Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
• Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
• Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
• Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt<- (will be maximized) and info.txt<- (will be minimized)
