This apears to be a corporate machine - you SHOULD inform the IT department.
From our Forum Rules:

In General, we do not help in cleaning business or corporate computers. There may be restrictions and modifications installed on such machines that could be damaged or altered by the actions we take to remove Malware. There may also be legal issues regarding any loss of business data that we do not wish to deal with.

When a company machine is involved there is more to consider than just getting a machine clean.
To make sure it does not happen again, the IT department needs to make sure the machine is locked down so that additional programs cannot be installed without their knowledge.
The data on the machine is much more valuable than the machine itself.
If that data is compromised it could lead to data protection issues, even things that could be of a regulatory nature for disclosure to police etc.

Thanks for concerns but no, it's my personal laptop. I work for a small business that has employees in 6 different states and run our company mail server out of my guest room. I occasionally need to log in to the domain as a client with my laptop just to test things out. I did find my main problem after looking at the system log in the event viewer there were tons of errors relating to a bad sector on my hard drive. I did a checkdsk /f and it is running much better now. Did anything look weird in my ht log? Thanks -Steve

If you don't install an Antivirus program soon, you will definitely get infected. What you have is insufficient.
Better get one like this : http://www.avira.com/en/products/avira_antivir_premium.html
(It's inexpensive. The totally free ones don't usually allow business operations).

Also be aware that having lots of defects in chkdsk on a HD usually means it needs to be replaced, sooner, rather than later.
(especially if the chkdsk report shows bad sectors. "bitmap" errors are not meaningful).
Otherwise, you may find you can't boot and can't retrieve the data either.
