hi,

I guess I took too long to respond to my instructions and my thread got closed.

Above is the link to my topic.

I just finished the Kaspersky scan and my report showed nothing.

KASPERSKY ONLINE SCANNER 7.0 REPORT
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
Kaspersky Online Scanner version: 7.0.26.13
Program database last update: Tuesday, May 19, 2009 12:27:45
Records in database: 2196013

Scan settings
Scan using the following database extended
Scan archives yes
Scan mail databases yes

Scan area My Computer
C:\
D:\

Scan statistics
Files scanned 88892
Threat name 0
Infected objects 0
Suspicious objects 0
Duration of the scan 04:43:20

No malware has been detected. The scan area is clean.
The selected area was scanned.

So I'm still not sure why my laptop's been crashing...last time it WAS because I had a virus...could it be that it's just old and overheating more easily??

Sorry for being a procrastinator...

Thanks!
