MY Daughter's Laptop - Yikes

4 min read

This thread's last reply is from May 10, 2009, 4:04 PM UTC. Software, malware, and removal-tool advice below may be out of date — treat specific steps and download links with caution.

Hello, :( and please help :?:
I cant seem to get rid of a trojan horse. I have run ATF, and downloaded Malwarebytes - and have run that. But every time I reboot, I get a program named pwkxdts trying to load, and it keeps taking on different names (mostly as a US Robotics systme file) - Win Patrol keeps bringing it up and I keep blocking it.

Thanks - and I really appreciate the help !!! :bounce:
