Security Alert

Unread postby Snitz » April 22nd, 2009, 5:54 pm

Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem accessing certain protected websites. I'm getting a popup that says the following:

Security Alert

Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the site's security certificate.

The security certificate is from a trusted cretifying authority.
The security certificate has expired or is not yet valid.
The security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.

Do you want to proceed?

YES NO VIEW CERTIFICATE

If I click yes, it will sometimes let me go on to the site, however sometimes I have to click yes repeatedly before the popup goes away.
If I click View certificate, it pulls up Certificate Information page that lists the certificate as being currently valid.
It also gives me the option to "install certificate"
That button scares me because it brings up a install wizard for something that I'm unfamiliar with.

Sometimes even after I Click YES, it takes me back to the login area of that website...

I didn't get this security alert in the past, it has just recently been popping up all the time.

Can you guys help?

EDIT:
LOL I think I just fixed it...my computers date was set to Apr. 2008
it's not popping up the window anymore....
unless you see anything else in my hijack this log that looks bad I guess I'm good to go
