Hi,
I am new here and fairly poor with computers so apologies if the jargon is a little incorrect. There are 2 useers on my PC and we appear to have some sort of malware . I will describe the symptoms and hopefully some action may be suggested.

When I log in to PC:
1) I get continous (every couple secs) pop ups from Win PC Defender some sort of fake microsoft software. warning it is finding stuff etc
2) Internet will not run ( firefox or explorer)
3) The security section in control panel is unavailable
4) My desktop (screensaver) is not alterable
5) My AVG keeps asking to reinstall but cant get through this

When I log into PC under wifes profile:
1) Less pop ups just AVG saying cannot install, and A micrisoft Phising pop up saying to enable or not ( I leave alone)
2) Internet firefox doesnt work can use outlook but slow and lots sites do not work

Any suggestions?
