Out of Practice - Help needed

Unread postby whisperer » April 2nd, 2009, 3:59 pm

I have an elderly American friend who is unable to use any of his browsers, IE, Opera and now Firefox - I am way out of touch with current problems especially with the appearance of worms like Conficker, hence this plea to the forum for somebody to help him out.

His name is Herman and he does have an internet connection in that he can use his email normally but that is about his limit. To whoever takes this on I will PM his emails to date but so far I have asked him for an HJT log which is shown below together with an MBAM run, in the case of MBAM I downloaded the setup file and then sent it over to him BUT he can not get any updates.
