What should I do while I wait ?

Unread postby bad-malware » March 23rd, 2009, 3:45 pm

My thread is on p. 3 now and closing in on the 72-hours where I can send it to the bump room.

In the meantime, *any* suggestions on what I can or should do to protect my system - and my private data - would be appreciated.

Note to Mods:

This is not an attempt to 'bump' my Log request early. But I work online so I just need some guidance on how to protect my system while I wait.

Thank you.

As with most malware removal help forums, we see more victims of infections than we have volunteers. Although at times the task is daunting, our helpers do their best to attend to all.

If you have not received an answer after 72 hours (three days) you can help out by letting us know by posting in >The 72 hour bump room<.

Be sure to include a link to your original post. Just the link please, we don't want HJT logs posted in the 72 hour bump room. If your helper wants a new log they'll ask you for one.

This topic is now closed. Your original topic will remain open.
