need help removing a malware that pop up ad web pages

Hello, I just registered with this forum, help is much appretiated.

My problem is that everytime I use a browser or a program, it fades out randomly (like it becomes inactive unless i click on it with a mouse), and sometimes a pop up also shows up.

I've looked into the cookies folder and deleted some cookies related to the pop-up web links, but they seem to keep re-appear after a while. Some of the cookies include:

I have Norton Antivirus 2008 and I've ran full system scans a couples times now, but that one tracking cookie adware keeps on re-appearing after i've fixed it, I also tried running the scan in safemode but that didn't solve the problem.

I used to have a P2P software, but I've removed it completely.

1 - Scan With ComboFix

Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running ComboFix -

Please ensure you read this guide carefully and install the Recovery Console first.

The Windows Recovery Console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.

Once installed, you should see a blue screen prompt that says -

The Recovery Console was successfully installed.

Please continue as follows -

• Close/Disable all anti-virus and anti-malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
  
• Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.

When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.

2 - uninstall list

Make an uninstall list using HijackThis
To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

1. Start HijackThis
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
5. Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here on your next reply.

3 - Run Hijackthis
Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad

4 - Status Check
Please reply with

1. the ComboFix log(C:\ComboFix.txt)
2. the uninstall list
3. a fresh HijackThis log
