ermvu8.cmd problems and other things

Hello. I already have done Housecall online scan in this PC. It recognizes ermvu8.cmd among other 3malwares. These online scan could not remove these problems and it tends to slow the speed of the PC when using MS Word and Firefox simultaneously. Avasti scanner also cant find the problem.

Worst sometimes the PC just hangs.


What do I do next?

Hi

The infection on your computer is known to try to steal information (e.g. passwords) from some online games. I would report this and from a clean computer change all your online game passwords.

Do you have any logs from the online scans you have done?


Download OTMoveIt2 by Old Timer and save it to your Desktop.

• Double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it.
• Copy the lines in the codebox below.

• Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the Paste List of Files/Folders to Move window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste.

• Click the red Moveit! button.
• Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar), and paste it in your next reply.
  Note: If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes. In this case, after the reboot, open Notepad (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad), click File->Open, in the File Name box enter *.log and press the Enter key, navigate to the C:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles folder, and open the newest .log file present, and copy/paste the contents of that document back here in your next post.
• Close OTMoveIt2

1. Close any open browsers.

2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

To disable AVAST:
Right click on the avast! icon in system tray (looks like a letter "a" on a billiard ball), and choose Stop On-Access Protection

Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.

When finished, it will produce a report for you.

• Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall

ComboFix disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before ComboFix completes its run. If ComboFix runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine
