Joke-Bluescreen.c problem

I, like some others on this forum, have also now encountered the annoying "Warning! Spyware Detected on your Computer! Install an antivirus pr spyware remover to clean your computer." desktop background problem. Any help would be appreciated. As for symptoms, there is none obvious to me(besides the decorative background change) but I guess it wouldn't be doing a good job as spyware/a virus if I could see what it was really doing and be able to stop it myself. Here is my Hijackthis log. (Just a note but I am only posting this because I am not sure on how to go about doing this since the other people on their own topics seem to have gotten their own tailored help and I don't want to wreck my computer doing something I'm not sure of.)

Edit: Two other symptoms i have noticed, actually, are 1.) when I start up windows and I'm at the mainscreen I get a message titled "Windows Script Host" saying "Loading script "C\\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner\Local Settings\Temp\.tt5.tmp.vbs" failed (Access is Denied)." and 2.) I get switched to a bluescreen for a couple of seconds which has a warning on it (forgot what it says) and then it goes back to the desktop. (This does not happen everytime I boot up)

Edit 2: Also, I'm pretty much available 24/7 so as soon as I see a response I will reply back asap as I do need this computer running soon.

Are both avast! and McAfee up-to-date?

Yes, I believe they both are. Also I just had another question. Does using the Windows system restore actually remove harmful unwanted's because I remember getting something like this once before and I used it and the weird background went away and my computer ran fine afterwards but that was like two or three years ago. This time when I tried to use it, for some reason there was not a point to go back to at all.

Also, I tried running both Avast and McAfee (along with spybot and adaware) in safe mode a couple of days ago when i got this problem and they seemed to have detected a couple of things and fixed them but the desktop background is still the same. Also another bad problem, when I go to properties on the desktop background, I'm pretty sure i'm missing a tab because I can't change the background. I have only three tabs.

If so, you should uninstall one of them; only one antivirus should be active.

Using system restore is no complete solution for malware problems.

Please post a fresh HijackThis log after uninstallation and we'll continue

Here is my HT log and just a note but after uninstalling Avast and restarting my computer I got the same Windows script host error thing and it went to the blue screen where it said windows was shutting down because of a problem called BOGUS_DRIVER or something like that and just went back to the desktop after 10 seconds.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

• Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
• At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

Hi

Please go to Kaspersky website and perform an online antivirus scan.

1. Read through the requirements and privacy statement and click on Accept button.
2. It will start downloading and installing the scanner and virus definitions. You will be prompted to install an application from Kaspersky. Click Run.
3. When the downloads have finished, click on Settings.
4. Make sure these boxes are checked (ticked). If they are not, please tick them and click on the Save button:
   Spyware, Adware, Dialers, and other potentially dangerous programs
   Archives
   
5. Click on My Computer under Scan.
6. Once the scan is complete, it will display the results. Click on View Scan Report.
7. You will see a list of infected items there. Click on Save Report As....
8. Save this report to a convenient place. Change the Files of type to Text file (.txt) before clicking on the Save button.
9. Please post this log in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. A malicious site could render Java content under older, vulnerable versions of Sun's software if the user has not removed them. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update:

• Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 7 and save it to your desktop.
• Scroll down to where it saysThe Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications..
• Click the Download button to the right.
• Select Windows on platform combobox and check the box that says:
  Accept License Agreement. Click continue.
• The page will refresh.
• Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
• Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
• Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel, double-click on Add/Remove Programs and remove all older versions of Java.
• Check (highlight) any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.

Next we remove all used tools.

• Change the Navigate sub-frames across different domains to Prompt
  
• When all these settings have been made, click on the OK button.
  
• If it prompts you as to whether or not you want to save the settings, press the Yes button.
• Next press the Apply button and then the OK to exit the Internet Properties page.

• Update your AntiVirus Software - It is imperitive that you update your Antivirus software at least once a week (Even more if you wish). If you do not update your antivirus software then it will not be able to catch any of the new variants that may come out.
  
  
• Visit Microsoft's Windows Update Site Frequently - It is important that you visit http://www.windowsupdate.com regularly. This will ensure your computer has always the latest security updates available installed on your computer. If there are new updates to install, install them immediately, reboot your computer, and revisit the site until there are no more critical updates.
  
• Install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is a new and powerful anti-malware tool. It is
  totally free but for real-time protection you will have to pay a small one-time fee. Tutorial on installing & using this product can be found below:

• Install SpywareBlaster - SpywareBlaster will added a large list of programs and sites into your Internet Explorer settings that will protect you from running and downloading known malicious programs.

• Update all these programs regularly - Make sure you update all the programs I have listed regularly. Without regular updates you WILL NOT be protected when new malicious programs are released.

Follow this list and your potential for being infected again will reduce dramatically.

Here are some additional utilities that will enhance your safety

• MVPS Hosts file <= The MVPS Hosts file replaces your current HOSTS file with one containing well know ad sites etc. Basically, this prevents your computer from connecting to those sites by redirecting them to 127.0.0.1 which is your local computer
• Winpatrol <= Download and install the free version of Winpatrol. a tutorial for this product is located here:

Stand Up and Be Counted ---> Malware Complaints <--- where you can make difference!

The site offers people who have been (or are) victims of malware the opportunity to document their story and, in that way, launch a complaint against the malware and the makers of the malware.
