I still have problems accessing 'bbc iplayer' on all the computers on my network (two computers and a laptop). It says I'm not in the uk. Also when I type http://www.google.com into my browser I get redirected to the irish google (http://www.google.ie) even though I live in england.

Is there anyway to change this? Does this mean my other computer and laptop are infected aswell?

Thank you

That is odd.

Are you currently in England or elsewhere?

I've always lived in england and have never used my computers or laptop abroad. In 'regional and language options' (under control panel) everything is set to the UK which is correct. Also I've checked my router settings and it's set to GMT England which is also correct.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. We are still searching for an answer.

Could you please post the logs of your other computers and laptop?

That way we could ensure that no computers are infected and is affecting the router.

The laptop's HijackThis log is extremely short. A lot of important sections are missing from the HijackThis. Could you verify that this is the full log?

Please run another scan with HijackThis. Don't do anything to it yet. Let it run and Notepad will open. After that, please copy and paste the contents of this log in your next reply.

Your other computer's log looks clean. Let's take a deeper look into the system.

  1. Please download Deckard's System Scanner from Tech Support Forum and save it to your desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
  2. Save all your work and close all opened programs.
  3. Double click on dss.exe to run it. Follow the prompts.
  4. When the scan is complete, two log files will be produced. The first one, main.txt, will be maximized, the second one, extra.txt, will be minimized.
  5. Please post the contents of the 2 log files in your next reply. 1 log per reply please.

Due to lack of response, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
