sspMyDoom Infection - I think

Unread postby skipick » March 6th, 2005, 11:18 pm

Chris,

Bertha saw my post on another forum and suggested I see if you can help.

I have been trying to fix this problem since it first showed up as sspMyDoom. I ran Hijack this and following advice from others I went into safe mode and checked several of the listed items in the log (e.g., all the R0'2 except cox.net and the R3 item). I also ran several anti spyware programs. The first time I did this, I was successful - the popups and internet explorer problems I was having disappeared. About a week later, however, they came back.

Anyway, here is my hijack log file. If you have any suggestions of how to rid myself of this problem I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Craig
