Infostealer

Hi
I am posting this on behalf of a colleague who has lost his internet access.
Norton AV tells him it has found Infostealer virus and removed it.
Internet Explorer has changed homepage from hxxp://www.supanet.com to update @ supanet.com
and won't allow him to do/go anything/anywhere else.

I wondered if this is Malware and would appreciate any advice; if it's not then apologies.

Regards

Andy

If you still need help please

Please download HJTInstall.exe from here and save it to your desktop
  • Double click on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop
  • Click I Accept
  • HijackThis will open
  • Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button.
  • It will scan and then the log will open in notepad.
  • Paste the log as a reply to this thread.
  • Don't use the Analyse This button - its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet.

Due to lack of response this topic is now closed.

If you still need help open a new thread in the Malware Removal forum and wait for a new helper.
