I seem to have been infected by a virus or malware known as "shyam.com.np." Many computers on my university campus have been reporting this, although our ITS department has yet to release a solution. I'm not sure exactly what it does, but my internet browser now was a tag attached to the title. (ex: "http://malwareremoval.com - shyam.com.np")

Close all windows including browser and press fix checked.

Reboot.

Post back a fresh HijackThis log and tell if that problem has disappeared?

A few days after initially posting this, I downloaded Spybot Search & Destroy, and thru that I was able to delete the tag from the browser, but I am not sure if that was all that was to "shyam.com.np" or if it had infiltrated my system futher.
