Hi smurcoch! I'm 'KotaGuy. Welcome to Malware Removal!

Not much showing in your log... which program is picking up CyDoor?

Download and install CCleaner. Don't run it yet.

Please disable Microsoft AntiSpyware Real Time Protection, as it may interfere with the fix. To do this:
  • Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
  • Click on Tools, Settings.
  • In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
  • Under Startup Options uncheck Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
  • Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
  • After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
  • Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Once your log is clean you can re-enable Microsoft AntiSpyware Real Time Protection.

Copy/paste this into notepad or wordpad for reference during the fix.

Run and scan with HijackThis. With all browsers and windows closed, place a check beside the following and fix:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customi ... ch/ie.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customi ... .yahoo.com
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customi ... ch/ie.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customi ... .yahoo.com

Run CCleaner.

Reboot and post a new HijackThis log please.

Thanks for posting the new log.

That BHO could be related to FlashGet. It could also be related to CWS. A file used by FlashGet and one used by CWS share the same CLSID. MSAS may be detecting the FlashGet file as CWS because of that.

Reboot your computer... have MSAS accept the BHO instead of blocking it. I'd like to see if its FlashGet or CWS.

Post a new log once you've rebooted.

Thanks!

Yeah... I know what the SurferNetwork is... used to listen to The Bear on it before they switched to the system they are using now :)

The 016 for SurferNetwork you can remove if you wish.. its a DPF and will reinstall if needed once you connect back to SurferNetwork.

If you havent been redirected, then I would say your system is good to go!

Some suggestions...

To clean up anything that may have been left behind, I suggest doing a couple online virus scans. A couple good ones are Panda ActiveScan and TrendMicro HouseCall. Let them fix anything they find. Reboot between each scan.

If you don't have them, download Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D. Visit this page for proper configuration of Spybot and Ad-Aware. Run and scan with both, letting them fix whatever they find. Remember to reboot between each scan.

Now that your computer is clean, its a good time to reset your System Restore point. This will ensure a clean backup to fall upon if you ever need it. To do this:
  • Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  • Click the System Restore tab.
  • Check the "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives"

Reboot your computer, follow the steps above, this time unchecking the "Turn off System Restore" and reboot.
