I'm trying to help fix someones pc and wondered if anyone could look at this HJT log for me.

When the pc is switched on the following message appears

NT\Authority\System with reference to DCOM

The pc when 1st scanned had over 300 virus's/spyware etc.

I've done online scans with Panda and House Call. The Panda scan revealed there were still some infections, the House Call scan said the pc was clean.

a2 scans come up clean, as does Trojan Hunter and SUPERAntiSpyware.

Also the pc cannot get any updates from Microsoft and some Anti Virus programs will not install.

I forgot to mention that when the NT\Authority\System message pops up the system wants to shutdown in 60 seconds.

I have managed to stop it shuting down by typing shutdown -a in the run command box.

In case anyone replies I've had to reformat the hard drive.
