New Hijackthis log for my laptop

4 min read

This thread's last reply is from February 1, 2007, 10:10 AM UTC. Software, malware, and removal-tool advice below may be out of date — treat specific steps and download links with caution.

Please can someone help me?
I am having problems when I click on a drop-down box, windows pop-up blocker stops me viewing the box although the stopper is turned off. Also I'm unable to click on certain links on websites, nothing happens, but on others it works fine. Sometimes, when I want to tick a box to delete an email, the tick works but the delete button doesn't respond. I think I have malware on my laptop. Here is my Hijackthis log, thanks George.

You do not seem to have any malware installed.

Java is well out of date.

You can get version 6.0 from here.
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Do uninstall from add/remove program ALL previous version of java. (they are a security risk).

I think you have a conflict with your software - probably the web accelerator.

One option is to remove that and see if the problem goes away - if not then reinstall and try another program that might be conflicting.
