Hi, I just want to thank everyone here for what they're doing. Greatly helping our lives against the persistance of malware.

Ok, I have done ad-aware scans, Spybot S&D scans, but the problem persists.

1) When I browse the internet and want to scroll up or down a page, page kind of does a glitch, almost like its refreshing but its not. The above mentioned scans did not remedy this. I have this problem on both IE AND FireFOX.

2) My [IE] browser keeps popping up with the same popup for spyware scanner or whatnot made by "CA". The above mentioned scans did not solve this either.

3)I'm not sure if this is related, but when I want to run one of the more modern games, the program says it can not detect my video card(even though it HAS done so in the past) or that it is a "0 MB video card". These programs have worked in the past and I am simply flabbergasted at this.

THANKYOU, so much for what you are all doing :)

Hello Xbsnguy,

Welcome to the MRU forums.

Let's get started. :D

The version of Internet Explorer you're currently using is out of date, and should be upgraded to the newest version as soon as possible.

Please print out the following instructions since part of the fix requires rebooting into Safe Mode.

We need to download several tools necessary for this fix:Do Not Run Them Yet

SmitfraudFix© by S!Ri to your Desktop.
Extract all the files to your Destop. This will create a folder named SmitfraudFix on your Desktop.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky, NOD32) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
