Bad Dog

A dos box pops and runs when I boot and all I can see is bad dog. This system seems to hang on booting but not everytime and is very slow.

Hey mb,

I dont see any problems with your Hijackthis Log at all.

You system is likely slow at startup becuase you are running Norton Antivirus, this is known to just eat your computers resources especially at startup, so its likely that is causing the slowness you describe becuase you really dont have many programs which run at startup (from your Hijackthis Log)

As for the dos box that appears it is likley best to ask in the DELL forums about this problem, try this board - http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=sw_winxp
