Try this using Internet explorer This normally scans when other scans don't.

Download and run Sysclean
  • Create a folder on your desktop called Sysclean.
  • Go to http://www.trendmicro.com/download/dcs.asp and download sysclean package to the folder you made.
  • Go to http://www.trendmicro.com/download/pattern.asp and download the Virus Pattern File (Official Pattern Release) to your desktop.
This file will be called lptXXX.zip (XXX represents the version number)
  • Unzip lptXXX.zip and you'll get the file lpt$vpn.XXX. Read here how to unzip/extract properly.
  • Move the lpt$vpn.XXX to the Sysclean-folder you created on your desktop.
  • Open the sysclean-folder and doubleclick sysclean.com.
  • Check: "Automatically clean or delete detected files".
  • Click scan.

Open your sysclean-folder and copy and paste the contents of sysclean.log in your next reply.

I have one more if this doesn't work :)

i have downloaded the last file but wouldnt let me open it
ca55ie1982
i have it saved but still wont let me open it, do u think there is settings on my computer that is stopping this instruction to open files?
dan12 MRU Honors Grad Emeritus
did you save it as a txt file? just attach it to the post and we will see if there is a problem. :)
ca55ie1982
hi, ive got another problem now, i've turned on my laptop and theres no volume and currently saying "No Audio Output is installed" it was working yesterday. :)
dan12 MRU Honors Grad Emeritus
Are you able to get that text file to me, I need something to work with to help you.
Failing that I would suggest a reformat which I will give you some pointers on as by the time I've taken to try and help you with lack of information we could of reformatted the machine.

How we doing?
ca55ie1982
hi, i managed to completely reboot my laptop and started from the beginning, i got my sound back but still throwing me off the internet
:? :)
dan12 MRU Honors Grad Emeritus
Can you post me the Sysclean scan or the dss scan I asked for, I cannot help you if I don't have anything to look at.
The time were taking, we could of formatted your system.
I want to help but my options are limited.

it wont let me do the sysclean scan, struggling here.
dan12 MRU Honors Grad Emeritus
Have you tried a system restore to a point before you had these problems?
ca55ie1982
dont think so, went on gateway recovery and completely rebooted the computer so i had to start from scratch again, i lost all my photos etc and its still throwing me off the internet.
dan12 MRU Honors Grad Emeritus
Go to start> all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore

Restore my computer to an earlier time.
Think about when this started and return it to say the day before or nearest restore point which it will allow you to.
