My friend is eager to get his pc back, but I am just as eager to ensure that it is clean!!


As I said Malware wise the computer is looking good and you should be able to pass it back to your friend. It is important to understand though that once a computer has been infected there can be other issues that arise from system changes made when the computer was infected.

Eset and Kaspersky do tend to get a bit temperamental at time, so if no other issues with IE I would not worry too much at this stage.
