Really slow vista

After i was installed vista to factory defaults i opened an expired version of ie and i think i got a virus from it. I already read the board on non-virus slowness and think that this is not the case here. I'm assuming it's a virus b/c ie open a new window that took me to a phishing site. i tried to close the pop up window as fast as i could but i think my computer was infected b/c of the noticeable drop in speed. Edit: the virus has worsened, it will now not allow me to use firefox to access the internet and has decreased my comp. speed even more. My antivirus has also deactivated itself and wont let me reactivate it(microsoft seq ess). Edit:Edit: So the reason that i think it was running slow is due to the processes Trustedinstaller.exe and scvhost.exe eating all of my CPU. They seem to do this at random and can take 1min-10min+ to reboot themselves after i end them in task manager. Exiting them does seem to help although MSE will still not turn on on demand. DDS.txt: . I'm having some problems running programs now. Also when i use firefox to try and go to "http://www.goodanime.net/" i get unable to connect.

Edit: Upon restart firefox seems to allow me to go to the aforementioned website.

Hi doommonk,

Not a Malware Issue

After a thorough examination of the logs, there is no evidense of active malware on the computer.

Your problem does not appear to be "malware" related. The Malware Removal forum deals with removing malware.

Realistically the best course of action would be to reinstall vista to factory defaults again. Once you have done this then the top priority is to install an antivirus program and then run Microsoft Update to ensure the computer is fully updated.

Yes, we needed to remove it to give a clear view of the computer, it is fine to reinstall.
