Firefox-> redirecting to diff websites, IE- opening adverts

I had a problem 3 days back like my system was infected by something called the Vista Anti Virus 2010 and I had a tough time removing it, tried to use Windows One Care live scan (hung up the system & had to restart) then Bitdefender online scan, after that got hold of Malwarebytes Anti Malware to remove that Vista... Then I installed AVG free version and scanned the system it got hold of a few tracking cookies, trojans & I removed them all. Then I also installed Microsoft Security Essentials and did a full scan and removed the ones(trojans and exploits) it picked off. The trouble I am having now is that whenever I search on Google and I click on the results it starts rerouting me to a number of sites and takes me to some random site like manufacturingnet or something and sometimes to a false alarm site like vista 2010 antivirus. This is on Firefox and Safari browsers. IE also seems to be affected, when IE browser is open & when the system is idle it opens advertisements from Subway get
