Browser Jacked with pipas.A? DNS redirection. (page 3)

Hello, Somehow I have this pain on my laptop. It redirects browser pages and makes it impossible to update various software, in addition to constantly attempting to access spam sites or redirect me to them. Something is running that actively changes my HOSTS file. If I alter my hosts file, within a minute it is renamed to hosts.bak. Of note in the logfile are the 017 entries that have my DNS pointing (presumably) to a spammer DNS server. Any help here would be appreciated. I'm reluctant to use the internet for anything of importance until I can resolve this.
