Windows 8 laptop slow, stops responding and error messages

Hi there, I'm trying to help my parents with their painfully slow laptop, it takes ages to start up, internet pages don't load properly and it stops responding to anything and has to be shut down & restarted. I have done disk clean up, it's set to automatically defrag once a week and I downloaded startlite to disable any unnecessary start up programs. I have posted the requested logs in the hope that you may be able to help.
