Real life caught up with me.
Please download process explorer from here:

Once you download it, unzip the folder, and then run processexplorerNT
You will get a message about symbols. Tell the program you don't need to configure the symbols.
Once you get to the main pane, double click on explorer.exe
A window will pop up. Click on the threads tab
Use your mouse to select the different threads (at the top half of the box)
With each thread, look at the kernel time and the User time. TEll me which ones are using the most amount of CPU time. Try to do this while the explorer process is using 100% cpu
