Sending Unwanted Emails to FB Friend

My Asus laptop is doing three suspicious things. It sends (on it's own) the occasional shopping advertisement/spam email to a FB friend. Only two people have ever mentioned this. It goes to Yahoo! Search rather than my home page whenever I open a new tab It will at random times default to an odd "net-something" search page I strongly suspect the email problem originated with Facebook because I use a pseudonym in FB rather than my real name and it uses my FB name when it emails the person. The only other person that I know of who has received one of these rogue emails is his wife. No one else has complained. TIA . DDS (Ver_2012-11-20.01) .
