Hi askey127,

The computer seems to be running fine. Firefox is a bit slow to open; but that's likely no big deal.

It hasn't been freezing up; but, I haven't been on the internet a lot lately, so I guess I'll just have to experiment a bit and see what happens.

Thanks so much for all your help!!!

Shani

Hvnly777,
You're welcome!
You can use this file cleaner, which is excellent, and run it every week or so.
It's only disadvantage is that it often requires a ReStart after it runs.
It may speed up slow browsing.
----------------------------------------------
Download and Run Temp File Cleaner (TFC.exe)
Download Temp File Cleaner and save it to your desktop.
You might want to Copy/Paste/Print these instructions and Save any unsaved work. TFC will close ALL open programs... including your browser!
Double click to run it. (Right click and choose Run as Administrator in Vista or Win7)
If you have a lot of junk files to remove, it could take a while, so please be patient and let it finish.
When it's done, it will report the total size of files removed. If it asks to Reboot, choose to do so. This will remove files that could not be removed while Windows was running.
After Restart, log back in to your usual account.

You should be good to go. Just keep your one Antivirus and one Malwarebytes up to date, and use TFC to clean up.
Oh, and be careful what you click on :D
