Go ahead and start OTL (right click, Run as administrator)
Click the Cleanup button and let the program do its thing.

Download the hpHosts file installer from here: http://support.it-mate.co.uk/downloads/hpHosts-Setup-Win32.exe
Save it to your desktop.

• For XP, double click the Installer to run it. For Vista or Win7, right click the installer and choose "Run as administrator".
• Click the button to Accept the agreement
• Click Next
• Click Install
• When the screen labeled Completing the hp HOSTS Setup Wizard appears, be SURE to check the box labeled "Disable the DNS Client (Recommended)".
  (If you don't check that box, the next boot up may take a very long time, and the internet will be slow.)
• Click Finish.

Now you can delete the installer from your desktop.

when i loaded hpHosts it cut my net and slowed my processes i had to do a system restore to get back on and even then i still dont have anything.

my Taskbar is gone and all my programs are not on my main area.

Sorry for the problem.
Evidently the sequence did not turn off the DNS client service like it should.
If that happens, Windows tries to load about 100,000 sites from the HOSTS file into the DNS cache at bootup, and it takes a very long time.
The User might think it's paralyzed and interrupt the process.

Please tell me what date you rolled back to, and what tools are on your desktop now.
We probably have a few things to do over.

If it still takes a VERY long time to load at bootup, do this:

Disable DNS Client Service. This is necessary when installing a large HOSTS file.
From Start, or Start, Run
Type services.msc in the box and hit <Enter>
Give permission to continue if necessary.
Scroll down to DNS Client on the list, Right Click it and choose Properties.
Under Service Status, click Stop. Wait until it reports the service stopped.
Under Startup Type, choose Disabled.
Then click Apply, OK

(Then reboot)

the roll back did not help any. So I Flashed and reloaded no problem now.
