Sorry for the long scan, but that can happen with a very large number of files.

You can see the file that is infected in one of your backup folders. It's POSSIBLE that it's a false positive, but Kaspersky doesn't make many mistakes.
First, make sure you don't use that compressed (packed) file again.
Better still, you should delete it.
I hate to ask, but I am suspicious it may have somehow turned out to be a crack. Can you remember from where you downloaded it?

Otherwise the machine looks good.

it is a crack, its an old game i bought but have since lost the cd for. i dont remember where i downloaded it from. i have deleted the file.

Remember, virtually all cracks are loaded with infections, ready to bust your machine for someone else's benefit.
