Google Redirect Virus

Hi All, I am really confused as I am convinced I reposted my issue this morning after my (appropriate) slap for posting incorrectly yesterday...but I can't find my post. So if this turns out to be a duplicate. My apologies. I seem to have the google redirect virus, although I understand it can affect other search engines as well. I was on a corporate site a couple of weeks ago that was infected with JS:Illredir-D. Unfortunately my Spybot definitions were not up to date (by months, I didn't realise that) and I was heavily infected with viruses and trojans. I have been able to remove everything except for the google redirect virus. It is a slippery thing because everytime I think I get it, it pops back up after a few days or hours again and redirects my google search links to commercial sites of it's choosing. I have also noticed that the registry was impacted and was not allowing me to update Firefox or Adobe. (Error 1402) I have read that Windows Update gets impacted by this virus as w

I'm glad to hear you got the printer working. WinPatrol will require some attention from time to time but it is looking out for you.
