Browser hijacked

My symptoms are: When I open a new tab in either Firefox or IE 7.0, a page pops up with either a random ad or a page that looks something like a MS "Anti-Virus 2009" ad that tells me I'm infected. Also, I have also received a popup in the system tray telling me to install "Antivirus 2009" which I have not done. F-secure has found a couple of intrusions, but it doesn't seem to find this. Tried to run Ad-Aware, but the malware stops it from completing its tasks.
