Thank you Ashley - I will do. I've just been given a new PC (well - for £25) with Windows 2000 on it, 6GB hard drive and 128 meg ... so I will try my luck with that one ... does that sound a bargain to you? I've also been given Office (but without Powerpoint!).

Hope it works out for you.
W2000 is more stable than W98, but it is pokey with 128Mb RAM.
If you can manage to install a bit more to get it up to 256Mb, W2000 (and you) will be much happier.
Otherwise it should be better than what you have.
