EMPTY NORTON QUARANTEE FOLDERS
Go to this page and follow the directions for emptying Quarantine for your version of Norton Antivirus:

Set Your Computer to Show All Files
Make sure that 'Search system folders', 'Search hidden files and folders', and 'Search subfolders' are checked.

Using Windows Explore by right-clicking the Start button and left clicking Explore navigate to and find the following folders/files: if found, delete the following (some may not be present after previous steps):
Folders:
C:\Lop SD
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Toolbar
Files:
C:\lopR.txt
C:\Program Files\Online Services\setup_ares.exe << if you find more than one, please remove them all.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\xscan.exe

Let me know if you done all the above, post a new HijackThis log, and tell me if the pc is running ok now.

- Click My Computer.
- Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
- Select the View Tab.
- Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
- Uncheck Hide protected operating system files (recommended).
- Click Yes to confirm.
- Uncheck the Hide file extensions for known file types.
- Click OK.
Make sure that 'Search system folders', 'Search hidden files and folders', and 'Search subfolders' are checked.
