Hey, my problem is that when i log onto windows normally i get a blue screen windows stop error which reads IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL If this is the first time you have seen this Stop error screenm restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need. If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options, and then select safe mode. Technical Information: *** STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00000000,0x00000001,0x00000002,0x804DC11D) Now i can still start up in safe mode and if disconnect my internet i can start windows normally but as soon as i plug the interest back in i get the blue scree

any suggested antispyware programs??

if i reformat can there be virus connected to my ISP address that will come back as soon as i connect back to the internet?

hey, another question i had, the windows stop error i get that i posted in my first post that i get when i connect to the internet in normal mode, if i don't get that when i connect to the internet in safe mode does this mean i dont have a hardware problem. Because from what i looked up that stop error is usually a hardware (physical) problem or a software is trying to access the wrong hardware. I guess im trying to ask if i reformat will i get this same stop error cuz it might be hardware or because i dont get the stop error in safe mode its not hardware?

Most viruses are actually on the hard disk, once you reformatted and re-installed, the virus should be gone. However, it's easy to be infected again while you attempt to update Windows and download and install protection programs.

The best would be to download the updates and all the protection programs and burn them to a disc. After that, plug out the Internet cables and reformat and re-install Windows. Apply all the patches and install all security programs from the disc before connecting to the Internet again.

I'm not sure if it's hardware or software related. It could also be related to the malware that you have. It's not uncommon for them to cause those STOP errors.

If after reformatting and re-installing the STOP errors cease to appear again, chances are it's related to malware. If it still occurs, I suggest you try out these technical forums for help:
